The Engagement - Revealed

Alhamdulillah..i've been engaged for almost 3 weeks now. It may seem that our engagement period is short, but we preferred it that way. Tak baik melambat-lambatkan benda yang baik.
I went back to Melaka few days before the event. Dengan harapan konon nak berehat-rehat sambil buat apa yang patut. Little that i've realized there's so much to be done. For instance, mom has decide that she will cook the feast with few helps from the neighbors & friends. I guess you guys can imagine how 'penuh' the house is with all the pots /pans, food supply, not mentioning the whole family member.

The weather was soo freaking HOT! i didn't realise that it was that hot! I blamed myself for not agreeing with Mum masa she want to install the aircond last month. Tapi bila dah rasa betapa hangatnya the room is....rasa menyesal tak sudah. But luckily for me , my beloved uncle decided to sponsor the aircond installation! Thanks Cik Aman! Muah muah! Rezeki orang nak kawin kot. I kept myself busy by assembling the 'hantaran' . Look okaykan?

So on the engagement itself, i woke up pretty early despite getting only 3 hours sleep the night before. Mum hurried me to eat some breakfast to alas perut, and i dutifully did.
Not long after that, my girl, Ida ( from Aira Beauty Touch - http://airabeautytouch.blogspot.com/) came together with Ofey ( the official photographer) along withe their other half. I love the way Ida made me up!!! Even though she's relatively new, but she's not short on talent. Kan?

As for the attire, i decided to keep it simple. Just a chiffon kurung with satin silk lining and pearly beading's. Sebab i want to wear it after the event, sayang la kalau buat baju untuk pakai sekali je kan? The material for the outfit together with the veil cost less than RM 200.00.
Cuma the upah jahit la a bit pricey because i chose to get it done by Vanessa ( she's a very good tailor, and her beading work is superb!) .

The BV Clan start to arrive around 12pm. Then came Refie & Fina. Sangat seronok . They have never been to my family house kat Melaka ni.

Shortly after that the rombongan from The Fiancee came. Satu hapa pun tidak dapat dengar what have been discussed as Mom asked me to stay inside the room . So agak gelabah la kan...Tiba-tiba..ha..semua orang dok serbu bilik..Oh rupanya sessi sarung-menyarung dah nak mula.

What ever happened after that was hazy for me, i didn't remember much. All i remembered was this feeling of contentment of the thought of starting a new life with The Fiancee. Even we only know each other for a short period of time, but i've never doubt that somehow we are meant for each other.
